My New Room

Woo Hoo....check out my new room in Maastricht (Holland)... pretty cool huh.. its definitely much bigger than those back at NTU... Although i'll be stayin in a double rm for 5months..its alright.... I kinda realised that staying in a single rm can get quite depressing, especially after the past 1yr when i was facing 4 walls in a crammed rm.... its not like i'm complaining...i'm really grateful tat i managed to get my single rm back then...its jus tat facing the computer and no one else can get pretty boring...

Well all tat's gonna change now tat i'm gonna have a roommate..I heard tat she's from Turkey...I'm really kinda scared considering i have totally zero interaction with anyone from that region of the planet! Hope she can cook some great kebabs or something....will really need all the help i can get considering how expensive the food are here.....

On the first day I arrived in Maastricht, my frens and I decided to eat out at one of the regular cafes.....You won't believe it....there was an extra 19% charge for service and another 19% for gst....Gosh...i had the shock of my life....i made sure i licked the plate of food clean and dry....Nah not really....but then again..you sure won't catch me eating there ever again....

Anyway..lets focus on my rm......check out the neat kitchen...there's even a fridge...thank god! looks like i'll be cooking whether i want to or not.....don't be shocked....i would think i'm pretty domesticated afterall....i should be able to whip up some simple dishes....either tat or my frens are gonna have to flirt with the female china, jap and indian gals staying in the hostel to get a free dinner....muahahhaha....wish me and my frens luck!

Ohhh and last but not least....check out my new 2nd hand bike....This baby cost me 23euros...its considered dirt cheap considering i bought it from some blackmarket....Oh yea...bikes get stolen everyday here in Holland....its the main mode of transport so i was told to invest more on my bicycle lock than my bike....The rustier the bike...the better it wld be....so as to avoid seeing ur bike on sale at the blackmarket....
